Fishing Branch
Yukon Territory, Canada, 2011
Last fall, when the leaves turned orange, I sat on the riverbank of the Fishing Branch River in northern Canada, patiently waiting for the special drama that arrives with the return of the salmon. I was rewarded when this grizzly bear walked on edge of the stream in his search for fish as the whole scene was covered by a gentle flurry of snow.
