While swimming off the coast of Baja California Sur, this playful California Sea Lion kept approaching me. She would rise to the surface and then slowly descend to the sea floor, striking this pose over and over. It was as if she was saying, “Photograph me; I’m waiting.” I was more than happy to oblige as she reclined on the rocks with her snout proudly lifted.
