Bahamas, 2020

They chatted to one another in a language only they could understand while I waited on the outskirts of the pod for their verdict. Either I would be permitted to tag along with their group or I would be left behind in their wake as they zipped off to roam the open ocean. After a moment of pressing their snouts to one another as if to whisper, they seemed to come to a conclusion. With a quick turn, they invited me to a playful race and I kicked off to join them, beaming like a child.
